This September, Hotelogy is packing up and heading to Munich for the Independent Hotel Show — the leading business event for luxury and boutique hotels in the DACH region. If you're going to be there, we'd love to meet.
Why We're Heading to Munich
We spend most of our time inside hotels' technology stacks — auditing PMS setups, untangling overlapping tools, and helping independent properties get more from the systems they already pay for. But the best conversations happen in person. The Independent Hotel Show Munich brings together over 2,000 hoteliers, designers, and hospitality experts under one roof, and it's one of the few places in Europe where the independent hotel community gathers with real intent to rethink how their properties run.
What the Independent Hotel Show Munich Is
Now in its latest edition at the MOC Event Center Messe München, the Independent Hotel Show Munich is a curated trade show built specifically for luxury and boutique hotels — not the giant chain-oriented fairs. It runs across two days, 16–17 September 2026, and admission is free of charge for qualified hoteliers, accommodation operators, and interior designers. The format is deliberately focused: two days of new ideas, innovative products, and valuable encounters, rather than a sprawling exhibition you can't walk in a week.
What to Expect at the Show
- Over 150 to 180 carefully curated exhibitors spanning hospitality technology, luxury amenities, design furniture, and guest services
- More than 45 industry-led seminars covering AI automation, guest experience, sustainability, and design trends
- The Independent Hotel Awards on the evening of Wednesday 16 September, celebrating innovation across the independent hotel sector
- Designed networking spaces including The Stube (an alpine-themed restaurant by Hoi Architecture and Alps Interior Design), Café Connect, and a dedicated Members' Suite for business meetings
- Free entry for hoteliers and designers, including access to all talks, features, and networking formats
Where to Find Us
We won't be behind a booth — we'll be on the floor, walking the halls and meeting independent hoteliers between sessions. Our focus at the show is simple: talk to hoteliers about their tech stack. Most properties we work with are running more tools than they need, paying for overlapping functionality, and missing the integrations that would save their team hours every week. A twenty-minute conversation at the show is often enough to spot where the real gaps are. If you're at the show, let's grab a coffee. Book a meeting with us in advance so we don't miss each other on a busy floor, or just come say hello if you spot us. And if Munich isn't on your calendar this autumn, we'll walk through your stack wherever your property is.
